The 1st Stop
of the JAB Junior 9 Ball Tour was hosted by Green Room Billiards
in Maple Shade NJ.
Leading the top half of the bracket in the 14 & under age
group was Kevin Sun with win over Jackson Jeffreys. Leading
the bottom half of the bracket was Stephen “Little Sharky”
LeClair with wins over Briana Miller, and Charles Darwin Vergara.
Playing for the hot seat was Kevin Sun vs. Stephen “Little
Sharky” LeClair. This was a great match with Kevin Sun
coming out on top giving him the hot seat and sending Little
Sharky to the one lost side. On the one lost side it was Charles
Darwin Vergara taking on Little Sharky for a rematch of earlier
that day. Little Sharky once again came out on top winning the
match easily.
In the finals it was Kevin Sun vs Stephen “Little Sharky”
LeClair. This was a great match that went back and forth but
when it was all said and done it was Kevin Sun that came out
with the win and the first stop of the JAB Junior 9 ball tour.

Leading the top half of the bracket in the 15 thru 19 age group
was Michael Tosado with wins over Ryan Gilligan, and Joshua
Fuller. Leading the bottom half of the bracket was Lee Kang
with wins over Derick Daya, and Kevin Sun.
Playing for the hot seat it was Lee Kang vs Michael Tosado
this was a great match that went back and forth but when it
was all said and done it was Lee Kang pulling out the win giving
him the hot seat and sending Michael Tosado to the one lost
side. Making his way from the one lost side was Derek Schwager
after losing his second match he went on a roll with wins over
Dan Swayze, Angelo Quadara, Joshua Fuller, Kevin Sun, and Michael
Tosado to get to the finals.
In the finals it was Lee Kang vs Derek Schwager, Derek Schwager
had to beat Lee Kang twice and he did just that to win the tournament.
